Karen Meager
Karen
has fifteen years experience in training, coaching
and developing top talent in a business environment.
She evolved into training through business after working
for ten years running call centres, sales and marketing
teams and operational business units so she really
understands the challenges managers and businesses
face in these areas. It was her passion for helping
people become the best they can be that led to the
birth of Monkey Puzzle.
Karen has an MBA specialising in strategy, financial
strategy and human development. She is a UKCP registered
Psychotherapist (DipNLPt) and an INLPTA certified
NLP Master Trainer. She also has training in other
psychological models, human development and social
psychology which she uses in her training and coaching.
Karen also runs a private coaching and therapy practice
near Bath in Somerset. She is an accredited member
of and works to the code of ethics and practice of
the Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling

John McLachlan
John
is a talented and experienced senior facilitator and
coach with a passion for guiding individuals and organisations
in transforming into who and what they want to be.
CA qualified John has over 20 years in a variety
of senior finance leadership roles including a Group
FD role in Industry and a Partner for a Scottish Professional
CA Practice.
John is energised by guiding people to understand
the impact of language, beliefs and behaviours for
themselves and help them to identify the possibilities
and action they can take to change and grow.
In addition to his business expertise, John uses
both experience of his own personal transformation
and a range of powerful tools to dynamically guide
people and organisations to achieve their desired
outcomes. John is an INLPTA certified NLP Master Trainer,
a Master Practitioner of NLP as well as an Insights
Accredited Licensed Practitioner, and experienced
coach.
John also runs a private coaching and therapy practice
near Stirling in Scotland and is a qualified NLP Therapist
and Clinical Hypnotherapist. John is a member and
works to the code of ethics and practice of the Neuro
Linquistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association

Jennie Backshell
As
Monkey Puzzles Business Development Manager, Jennie
is your first port of call for all open courses and
corporate enquires. She also provides support to our
existing delegates and clients.
Jennie is a qualified INLPTA NLP Trainer and Master
Practitioner. She is an expert in the practical application
of NLP in both business and personal life. During
the course of her training Jennie has adapted many
aspects of her learning to her family life as well
as her profession and is therefore extremely well
positioned to assist you with any queries that you
may have.
Prior to her career in Training and Development, Jennie
acquired 10 years experience in the entertainment
industry assisting companies to expand their business
with increasing Sales, PR and Marketing activities.
Jennie is obsessed about good customer service and
these values make her a great addition to the team.

Yvonne Meager
Yvonne
has over twenty years experience managing busy offices
and as a Personal Assistant. Having worked with top
executives, engineers, office staff and sales teams,
Yvonne has the ability to connect with people from
different backgrounds and a variety of life and work
experiences. She is passionate about customer service
and her ability to bring the personal touch to all
our clients makes her such a great asset to the company.
Yvonne acts as Personal Assistant to Karen and John
and provides support for the rest of the team and
our clients as well as running the office. It's a
good job multi tasking is also one of her strengths!

Liz Watkins-Young
Liz
is an experienced facilitator, coach and organisational
development consultant. Working daily with people
who are managing or responding to change, Liz understands
the highs and lows of business management and the
importance of great leadership. She works with boards,
management and frontline teams and individuals, supporting
change and enabling people to grow and develop to
be the best they can be.
Liz has a 20-year management and consulting career,
originally in the IT and professional services industries
working in business development, marketing and operations.
A member of the Chartered Management Institute, she
now specialises in strategic development and marketing
communications with businesses, charities and social
enterprises.
An INLPTA certified NLP Trainer and Master Practitioner
of NLP, Liz creates an energised and open environment
in which people exchange ideas, learn and grow.
Liz is also a director of Rubus, an organisational
development consultancy based in Malvern, Worcestershire.
From their Midlands base, Liz provides consultancy
and coaching to public sector, commercial and social
economy clients.
